Aims and motives of the UCCN

The Unitarian Communication Co-ordinators' Network was set up following a seminar of District Publicity Co-ordinators/Officers in Ludlow in 1998 where it was felt that there was a need for an organisation such as the UCCN. This was followed by 7 conferences at Great Hucklow that now occur annually, normaly in February.

Agreed aims of UCCN

• To be a Network of Communications Co-ordinators within the movement to exchange information, skills and resources.
• To give each other advice, support and encouragement.
• To raise the profile of the Unitarian movement.
• To provide active support for the GA Information Department.
• To improve the profile of publicity and communications work within the movement.
